Jewish worship was essentially made up of 3 parts: Devotional (prayers and praise) Didactic (scripture) and Ritualistic (animal sacrifice to atone for sin).

The early Christians would have still observed many of their Jewish traditions, but made one significant alteration or addition to their manner of worship.
